The main function of the sensor?

2021-12-24

In order to obtain information from the outside world, people have to rely on sense organs.  However, it is far from enough to rely on people's own sensory organs to study natural phenomena and laws as well as their functions in production activities.  To accommodate this, sensors are needed.  Therefore, it can be said that the sensor is the extension of human facial features, also known as electric facial features.

With the advent of the new technological revolution, the world has entered the information age.  In the process of using information, the first thing to solve is to obtain accurate and reliable information, and sensors are the main ways and means to obtain information in the natural and production fields.

In modern industrial production, especially in the process of automatic production, various sensors should be used to monitor and control the various parameters in the production process, so that the equipment works in normal state or the best state, and make the product reach the best quality.  Therefore, it can be said that without many good sensors, modern production will lose the basis.

In the basic science research, sensor has a prominent position.  With the development of modern science and technology, we have entered many new fields: for example, we need to observe the vast universe of thousands of light years on the macro level, the particle world as small as FM on the micro level, the celestial evolution of hundreds of thousands of years on the longitudinal level, and the instantaneous reaction of S on the longitudinal level.  In addition, there are also a variety of extreme technology research, such as ultra-high temperature, ultra-low temperature, ultra-high pressure, ultra-high vacuum, ultra-strong magnetic field, ultra-weak magnetic field and so on, which play an important role in deepening material understanding and exploiting new energy and new materials.  Obviously, it is impossible to acquire a great deal of information that is not directly available to the human senses without appropriate sensors.  Many obstacles to basic scientific research lie in the difficulty of obtaining object information, while some new mechanisms and the emergence of high sensitivity detection sensors often lead to breakthroughs in this field.  The development of some sensors is often a precursor to the development of some fringe disciplines.

Sensors have penetrated into such fields as industrial production, space exploration, ocean exploration, environmental protection, resource survey, medical diagnosis, biological engineering, and even cultural relic conservation.  It is no exaggeration to say that from the vast space, to the vast ocean, to all kinds of complex engineering systems, almost every modernization project, are inseparable from a variety of sensors.

Thus, sensor technology in the development of economic, promote social progress of the important role, is very obvious.  Countries all over the world attach great importance to the development of this field.  It is believed that in the near future, sensor technology will take a leap and reach a new level commensurate with its important position.
